Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum processors with classical AI frameworks
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at global tech conferences
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants for quantum-AI initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum complexity theory
- Collaborate with ethics committees to ensure responsible quantum AI deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development using Qiskit/Cirq
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum machine learning architectures
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience securing DoE/NASA grants for quantum research
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable quantum-AI prototypes
