Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional research teams to prototype quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Develop novel error-correction techniques for quantum neural networks
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum-AI co-design architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry grants for quantum-AI initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and tensor network simulations
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven ability to translate theoretical models into experimental prototypes
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or fault-tolerant systems
