Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in residential and park settings while maintaining control and positive reinforcement
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet parents via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (fresh water, waste cleanup, leash handling)
- Monitor dogs' behavior and health, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain precise scheduling and route optimization for efficiency
- Build trust-based relationships with both dogs and their owners
- Complete detailed daily activity logs for each client
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 25-40 lbs comfortably
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional time management and punctuality
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and body language
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based reporting
- Must pass background check and reference verification
