Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated areas while maintaining control and ensuring safety
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as per client instructions
- Monitor pets' behavior and health, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed logs of walks, services rendered, and pet observations
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding pet updates and scheduling
- Adhere to company safety protocols and best practices for animal handling
- Transport pets to/from vet appointments or other locations when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Excellent time management and reliability with punctuality
- Ability to work independently while following protocols
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to handle dogs of various sizes in all weather conditions
