Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously in residential and park settings
- Provide attentive care, feeding, and hydration during walks
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs and client communication
- Administer basic pet first aid and medication as needed
- Ensure all pets are securely leashed and under control at all times
- Clean and sanitize equipment after each walk
- Report any behavioral or health concerns to pet owners promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Arizona heat
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language
- Background check and drug screen required
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
