Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in various Durham neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as needed
- Maintain detailed client notes on pet behavior and health
- Transport pets to vet appointments or daycare using company vehicles
- Administer basic first aid in emergency situations
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional communication
- Adhere to all safety protocols and pet handling best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to walk dogs of all sizes (up to 80 lbs) in all weather
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
