Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in designated Arlington neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and playtime as per client instructions
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior, health, and services rendered
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding updates and concerns
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions with animals
- Manage multiple walks efficiently using our scheduling app
- Transport pets to/from appointments when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
