Responsibilities
- Walk & Exercise: Safely walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring they get adequate physical exercise and mental stimulation.
- Pet Care: Provide basic care including feeding, water refills, and administering medication if trained.
- Safety & Observation: Monitor dogs for any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral changes and report them immediately to the owner.
- Client Communication: Maintain professional relationships with pet owners by providing timely updates via our app or text.
- Sanitation: Clean up after pets during walks and maintain the cleanliness of equipment.
- Route Management: Efficiently navigate assigned routes and manage time to ensure all dogs are walked on schedule.
Qualifications
- Animal Lover: A genuine passion for dogs and animals is essential.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, responsible, and able to commit to a consistent schedule.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk up to 5 miles per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with clients and fellow staff.
- Background Check: Willingness to pass a background check and provide valid identification.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.
