Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes on scheduled routes, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation.
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress, illness, or injury during walks and report concerns to the owner immediately.
- Administer prescribed medications or supplements to dogs, strictly following the owner's instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness by promptly picking up and disposing of waste in designated areas.
- Securely leash and handle dogs to ensure the safety of the pet, the walker, and the public.
- Provide daily updates, photos, or videos to pet parents to keep them informed about their furry friends' well-being.
Qualifications
- Strong passion for animals and a genuine love for dogs of all temperaments.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain physical stamina for daily walking duties.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pet owners.
- Must pass a background check and provide professional references.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
