Responsibilities
- Safely walk 1-3 dogs per outing, ensuring proper leash control and handling
- Provide exercise, companionship, and mental stimulation during walks
- Monitor pets for health/behavioral issues and report observations
- Maintain clean environments by promptly cleaning up after dogs
- Adhere to scheduled routes/times with real-time client communication
- Securely transport pets when required (vehicle provided)
- Complete detailed digital walk reports after each session
Qualifications
- Unwavering love for dogs and basic animal handling knowledge
- Reliable transportation to service locations in Indianapolis
- Ability to walk 3+ miles daily in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and punctuality skills
- Excellent communication for client updates and incident reporting
- Physical stamina to handle large or energetic dogs
- Must pass basic background check and pet safety training
- No formal certification required – training provided!
