Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise multiple dogs simultaneously (max 4 per group)
- Provide timely feeding, medication administration, and fresh water
- Administer first aid in emergency situations and maintain incident reports
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and grooming services
- Update digital records with detailed observations and client communications
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and leash regulations
- Build strong relationships with pet owners through consistent, reliable service
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with pet safety equipment
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional knowledge of dog behavior and breed-specific needs
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong time management with punctual service delivery
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
