Responsibilities
- Perform daily dog walks and exercise routines tailored to each pet's energy level, breed, and health requirements.
- Feed pets according to strict schedules and administer medication or supplements as directed by pet owners.
- Ensure clean and safe environments by immediately picking up waste and maintaining equipment hygiene.
- Monitor pet behavior and physical condition, reporting any health concerns or unusual activity to management immediately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating daily updates, photos, and reports to pet owners via our mobile app.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure the well-being of all animals.
- Maintain a positive and professional image while representing the Jacksonville Pet Care Pros brand.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or professional animal care is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle with proof of insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to handle leash control and carry walking gear.
- Strong knowledge of animal behavior, body language, and basic first aid.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and a drug screen.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Enthusiastic, trustworthy, and communicative demeanor with both pets and people.
