Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled dog walks and runs, ensuring pets receive proper exercise and socialization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of each pet's behavior, diet, and bathroom habits.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and emergency procedures to ensure the well-being of all animals.
- Transport pets safely to and from designated meeting points using your own reliable vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding any concerns or observations during walks.
- Provide basic first aid if necessary and administer medication as prescribed by the owner.
- Keep equipment and vehicles clean and organized after every shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet care, dog walking, or animal handling is required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
- CPR and First Aid Certification for pets is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk 2+ miles per day in various weather conditions.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Must pass a background check and a temperament test with dogs.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
