Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, personalized care during daily walks for 2-5 dogs per group
- Implement strict safety protocols during walks, including proper leash handling and route planning
- Document walk details and client communications through our proprietary app
- Administer basic care (hydration, waste cleanup, behavior monitoring)
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional service and reliability
- Attend monthly training sessions to maintain premium service standards
- Manage multiple client schedules efficiently using digital tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid NJ driver's license with clean record and reliable transportation
- Canine First/CPR certification preferred
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Physical ability to walk 5+ miles daily in varied weather conditions
- Availability for early morning (6-9 AM) and evening (5-8 PM) shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficiency with pet care apps and digital scheduling tools
