Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately using advanced POS systems while maintaining cash accountability
- Deliver personalized customer experiences through product knowledge and upselling techniques
- Manage inventory reconciliation and stock rotation procedures
- Train new cashiers on company standards and operational protocols
- Resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and problem-solving expertise
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to maintain store presentation standards
- Participate in quarterly performance reviews and skill development workshops
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cashier experience with high-volume transaction processing
- Proficiency in modern POS systems (Square, Shopify POS, etc.)
- Exceptional cash handling accuracy with zero-discrepancy track record
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English and Spanish
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Valid Washington State Food Handler's Permit
