Responsibilities
- Master espresso extraction and specialty beverage preparation with precision
- Deliver exceptional customer service while upselling premium coffee offerings
- Maintain pristine cleanliness and operational efficiency in the barista station
- Train new baristas on brewing techniques and brand standards
- Collaborate with the team on seasonal menu development and promotions
- Manage inventory and ensure quality control of coffee beans and ingredients
- Participate in community events and local marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience with latte art certification
- Expert knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong sales aptitude with experience in premium beverage upselling
- Food Handler's Certification (CA State required)
- Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts
- Passion for coffee education and continuous skill development
