Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Monitor server health and perform routine maintenance tasks on weekends.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of workstations and peripherals.
- Perform data backups and ensure data integrity across the network.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in our knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the full-time IT team to address critical alerts and escalations.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies during off-hours operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
