Responsibilities
- Provide tier-one technical support via phone, email, and chat to end-users in Columbus and remote locations.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems, printers, and network connectivity.
- Document all technical issues, steps taken, and resolutions in our ticketing system (Zendesk/ServiceNow).
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new employee workstations and software applications.
- Educate users on best practices for cybersecurity and software usage.
- Collaborate with the senior IT team to identify recurring technical trends and implement solutions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within part-time hours.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if required by business needs.
