Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service including order taking, beverage refills, and timely food delivery
- Master menu knowledge and dietary restrictions to offer personalized recommendations
- Process payments accurately using our POS system and handle cash transactions
- Maintain clean, well-stocked dining areas and assist with table bussing
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow
- Resolve guest inquiries promptly with professionalism and positivity
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols during service hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in high-volume restaurant service
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
- Basic POS system proficiency (training provided)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Local San Jose residency preferred
