Responsibilities
- Greet, seat, and provide attentive service to guests in a timely manner
- Accurately take and process food/beverage orders using POS systems
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for seamless service flow
- Present menus, explain specials, and recommend menu items
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures
- Maintain clean, organized dining stations and restock supplies
- Resolve guest inquiries promptly with exceptional problem-solving
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
