In this role, you will be the face of The Columbus Bistro, responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for every guest. We are looking for reliable individuals who take pride in their work and are eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly upon arrival.
- Present menus, describe specials accurately, and answer menu-related questions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Provide exceptional service throughout the meal, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions.
- Clean tables and maintain the dining area to ensure a pristine environment.
- Cross-sell beverages and desserts to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server or in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as required.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift trays safely.
- Must be friendly, approachable, and detail-oriented.
