Responsibilities
- Deliver polished table service to high-profile clientele
- Expertly explain menu items, wine pairings, and specials
- Maintain pristine dining room standards and table turnover
- Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen and bar teams
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve service issues promptly
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or upscale restaurant experience
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of wine service and food safety protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid DC Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) license or willingness to obtain
