Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests immediately upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and offer detailed knowledge of ingredients, preparation, and flavor profiles to guide guest choices.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar team with precision.
- Maintain a pristine dining room, including setting tables, polishing glassware, and clearing dirty dishes promptly.
- Handle all transactions accurately using the POS system and manage cash drawers responsibly.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively address any concerns to ensure 5-star satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service flow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of local laws regarding responsible alcohol service (TABC certification is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Card or the ability to obtain one.
