Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome patrons with a warm smile, escort them to their tables, and provide menus with enthusiasm.
- Menu Expertise: Present food and beverage options, offering detailed descriptions and making tailored recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Order Management: Accurately take and transmit food and drink orders to the kitchen and bar using the POS system.
- Service Excellence: Serve meals and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high aesthetic standards.
- Upselling Opportunities: Proactively suggest appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks to enhance the guest experience.
- Payment Processing: Handle guest transactions efficiently, process credit cards and cash with precision, and manage tip distribution.
- Sanitation & Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine dining environment, ensuring tables are set and cleaned thoroughly between courses.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
- Food Safety: Working knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
