Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor upon arrival.
- Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of ingredients and preparation methods.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks with precision, ensuring proper timing and presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any concerns or special requests immediately.
- Maintain a pristine dining environment, including wiping tables and resetting them promptly.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions securely.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays up to 25 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Valid Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain one prior to start.
