Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome patrons warmly and ensure a smooth seating arrangement upon arrival.
- Take & Process Orders: Accurately record food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve Food & Drinks: Deliver orders efficiently, check for satisfaction, and refill drinks as needed.
- Handle Payments: Process transactions accurately, including cash and card, and manage the closing of tabs.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dining area pristine, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout your shift.
- Upsell & Promote: Suggest appetizers, desserts, or signature cocktails to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Collaborate: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Food Handler: Must possess a valid Food Handler Card or be willing to obtain one.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in order taking and payment processing.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and willingness to support fellow staff members.
