Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverages to assist guests with their selections.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Clean and set tables according to company standards to maintain an inviting dining environment.
- Check on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests immediately.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Handle payments and process refunds correctly, ensuring all financial transactions are secure.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software is a plus.
- Must possess a valid Food Service Handler Permit or be willing to obtain one.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle may be required for some shifts.
