Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service to 4-6 tables simultaneously
- Expertly explain menu items, specials, and wine pairings
- Process orders accurately using our modern POS system
- Coordinate with kitchen/bar staff for seamless timing
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision
- Maintain immaculate table settings and station cleanliness
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Upsell appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance checks
Qualifications
- 1+ years of restaurant/server experience required
- CA Food Handler Card certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of wine, craft cocktails, and dietary restrictions
- Ability to stand/walk for 6+ hours per shift
- Positive attitude under pressure during peak hours
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic POS system proficiency (training provided)
