Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about our menu.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our Point of Sale (POS) system and relay them to the kitchen efficiently.
- Provide detailed knowledge of our menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to make personalized recommendations.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, tables, and service areas to maintain high hygiene standards throughout the shift.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions with integrity.
- Upsell additional products, such as specialty drinks or appetizers, to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant is preferred but not required for highly motivated candidates.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid TIPS certification or willingness to complete training.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift trays up to 25 lbs.
