As a server, you are the face of our restaurant. You will be responsible for delivering top-tier service, managing guest needs with a smile, and ensuring every plate leaves our kitchen in perfect condition. Responsibilities
- Provide warm, welcoming greetings and maintain high standards of service throughout the guest dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them promptly to the kitchen staff.
- Upsell menu items and drinks knowledgeably to enhance the guest's culinary journey.
- Ensure the dining area is pristine, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Cashier and handle payments accurately, resolving any discrepancies immediately.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations (TABC certification preferred).
- Communicate effectively with bartenders, cooks, and managers to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle guest complaints with grace.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Micros, Toast, Oracle).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Valid Food Handler’s Certificate or ability to obtain one.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
