Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to every guest, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary service station and dining area at all times.
- Master and accurately execute the POS system to place orders, check on guests, and process payments efficiently.
- Knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings to make informed recommendations.
- Upsell products and beverages to enhance the guest experience while adhering to company standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with poise, resolving issues to ensure guest retention.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.
- Valid Food Service Worker Permit or Alcohol Awareness Certification (ABC) in Florida.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or standard restaurant POS software.
- A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
