Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service while maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverages
- Process orders accurately through POS systems and coordinate with kitchen staff
- Manage section cleanliness and table turnover efficiency
- Handle payment transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer accountability
- Upsell menu items and promotional offerings to enhance guest experience
- Resolve guest inquiries promptly with professionalism and problem-solving skills
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year prior restaurant server experience required
- Valid California Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
