Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service to guests including order taking, food delivery, and beverage service
- Upsell menu items and promotional specials to enhance guest experience
- Process payments accurately through POS systems and manage cash handling
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service flow
- Maintain clean and organized dining area and station setup
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant serving experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
- Valid Louisiana Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic POS system proficiency
