Responsibilities
- Brew high-quality espresso and coffee beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process orders and handle payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including the espresso machine and counter.
- Restock supplies such as milk, syrups, pastries, and cups to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in food preparation and service as needed.
- Engage with customers to recommend drinks and handle inquiries effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
