Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional table service with menu knowledge and allergen awareness
- Manage multi-table sections efficiently during peak hours
- Process payments accurately and maintain cash handling protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen/bar staff for seamless order execution
- Uphold cleanliness standards for tables and service stations
- Resolve guest inquiries promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
- Contribute to daily pre-shift briefings and post-closing procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year restaurant/server experience preferred
- Illinois Food Handler certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Ability to stand/walk for 6+ hours with occasional lifting (25 lbs)
- Strong communication skills with multilingual capability a plus
- Availability to work nights/weekends/holidays
- Basic POS system proficiency (Toast experience valued)
