Responsibilities
- Deliver polished tableside service with menu knowledge and wine pairing recommendations
- Manage guest experience from seating to checkout with attention to detail
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for accurate order fulfillment and timing
- Maintain pristine table settings and station cleanliness throughout shifts
- Process payments efficiently using POS systems while handling cash transactions
- Support opening/closing duties including restocking and sanitation protocols
- Contribute to a positive team environment through clear communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or upscale casual restaurant experience
- San Diego County Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications required
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities in fast-paced settings
- Strong knowledge of wine, craft beers, and cocktail preparation
- Ability to stand 6+ hours and lift 25 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for hospitality and commitment to guest satisfaction
- Basic POS system proficiency (Toast experience preferred)
