Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty beverages while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm hospitality
- Operate POS systems efficiently, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate cash drawer accountability
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and uphold strict sanitation protocols across all stations
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure seamless café operations
- Participate in ongoing product training to master seasonal offerings and brewing techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of professional barista experience with espresso machine proficiency
- Deep knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Flexible availability including weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Basic food handling certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Passion for sustainability and experience with eco-friendly practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
