Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service with professional beverage and food presentation
- Master our seasonal menu to make informed recommendations and accommodate dietary requests
- Process payments accurately using our POS system while maintaining cash accountability
- Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Contribute to a clean, organized dining environment through side station maintenance
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with grace and solution-oriented mindset
- Participate in pre-shift briefings and post-shift closing procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of restaurant serving experience in fast-paced environments
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (15-25 hours/week)
- Knowledge of wine, craft beers, and cocktail service preferred
- Ability to multitask efficiently during peak rush periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be 21+ years of age to apply
- Reliable transportation to downtown Oakland location
