Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, friendly table service to guests with knowledge of menu items and specials
- Process orders accurately through POS system and coordinate with kitchen staff
- Manage table assignments and maintain clean, well-stocked dining stations
- Handle cash transactions and reconcile payments at shift end
- Upsell appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance guest experience
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with bartenders and hosts to ensure seamless service flow
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of New Orleans cuisine and local beverage culture
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
