Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system with precision.
- Provide detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to enhance the guest experience.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
- Clean and maintain dining areas, tables, and restrooms throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service flow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous restaurant experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
- Familiarity with standard POS systems is a plus.
- Must possess a valid food service handler certification or be willing to obtain one.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as required.
