Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service including order taking, beverage refills, and timely food delivery
- Build rapport with guests to ensure a personalized dining experience
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain seamless operations
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with opening/closing duties including restocking and cleaning
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant serving experience preferred
- Michigan Food Handler Certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail service
- Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
