Responsibilities

- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer integrity
- Execute visual merchandising displays to highlight seasonal collections and local artisan products
- Manage inventory control including receiving, stocking, and cycle counting procedures
- Collaborate with team members to maintain store cleanliness and organized stockrooms
- Participate in seasonal promotions and cultural events to drive foot traffic
- Resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and product knowledge
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years retail/sales experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse customer demographics
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory management
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holiday peak periods
- Proficiency with retail technology (POS systems, inventory software)
- Knowledge of New Orleans culture and tourism landscape preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
