What You Will Do:
- Greet and Welcome: warmly welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department.
- Phone Management: professionally answer incoming calls, screen them, and take accurate messages.
- Administrative Support: manage incoming and outgoing mail, distribute faxes, and handle general office correspondence.
- Scheduling: assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining the daily calendar for the office manager.
- Data Entry: update patient records and maintain filing systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Supplies: monitor office supply levels and place orders when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a front-office role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, patients, and callers.
- Operate a multi-line telephone system and handle high call volume with professionalism.
- Sort and distribute mail and packages efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain confidential medical or business records.
- Assist with billing inquiries and insurance verification processes as needed.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a receptionist or administrative support role.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and reliable transportation (optional but preferred).
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
- Friendly demeanor with a strong focus on patient satisfaction.
