Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report abnormalities to RNs
- Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
- Accurately document patient care using electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations per protocol
- Collaborate with night shift nursing team for seamless care transitions
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Stock supplies and equipment for overnight operations
Qualifications
- Current Kentucky CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours per shift
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
- Reliable transportation for overnight shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
