Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
- Document patient information accurately in EHR systems
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for overnight procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and report abnormalities immediately
- Coordinate with day-shift teams for seamless patient care transitions
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic or similar preferred)
- Valid CPR certification
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Excellent communication skills for patient interactions
