Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and document observations every 2 hours
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under physician orders
- Respond to patient emergencies and provide first aid/CPR when needed
- Maintain accurate medical records and update electronic health systems
- Collaborate with overnight medical team for coordinated patient care
- Ensure patient safety through regular rounds and environmental checks
- Assist with patient mobility and comfort measures throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Current Arizona CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care setting
- Valid BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours during overnight shifts
- Strong communication skills for patient/family interactions
- Proficient in EMR systems (Epic or similar)
- Availability to work flexible schedule including weekends/holidays
- Background check and drug screen clearance
