Responsibilities
- Delight patients with attentive evening/weekend care coordination and support
- Accurately document patient interactions and vital signs using EMR systems
- Coordinate seamless handovers between day/evening shift teams
- Respond promptly to patient requests during peak evening hours
- Assist with weekend admissions and discharge procedures
- Maintain HIPAA compliance during all patient interactions
- Support weekend inventory management for medical supplies
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year healthcare support experience required
- Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong communication skills for diverse patient interactions
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Flexibility to cover variable evening/weekend schedules
- Valid Illinois driver's license for occasional transport needs
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA preferred)
