Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at service desks, assisting patrons with circulation, reference inquiries, and technology support
- Process and organize library materials including shelving, inventory, and collection maintenance
- Facilitate engaging programs and events for diverse age groups
- Manage digital resources including catalog systems and online databases
- Maintain accurate records and assist with branch administrative tasks
- Support outreach initiatives to underserved community members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; library science coursework or certification preferred
- 6+ months customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with library systems (ILS) and basic office software
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
