Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance during evening/weekend shifts
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Collaborate with night-shift nurses and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant patient environments
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergency protocols
- Support admission/discharge procedures during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous healthcare or patient care experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (training provided if needed)
- Flexible availability for evenings (4 PM - 12 AM) and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
