Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during evening and weekend shifts
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinationsPrepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Administer medications and perform basic lab tests
- Accurately update electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule patient appointments and manage front desk duties
- Handle patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings (4pm-12am) and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
